Dissertations look a bit different for this group of music students. In order to graduate, BEVERLY ANNA is required to host a concert for his senior thesis project. Desperate to prove himself, Beverly fills the audience with industry professionals... including a talent scout from Capitol Records: Blake Gerris.  

An influencer and musician in LA, SAMI CELESTE attends to reconnect with her estranged cousin Beverly. Intending to make the most of the networking event, Sami calls upon her beloved social media manager: Daphne Cohen.

Unbeknownst to Jess, she's bartending the same event her ex-band is headlining. She used to sing for MATEO, but left after a series of creative disagreements. Once close friends, she and Mateo haven't spoken since. Needless to say, she got pretty riled up.

Penny Jane is stoked to sing the hottest band on campus, MATEO. All seems well, until a background vocalist backs out of the gig minutes before house open. Determined, Penny Jane seeks out a replacement.

Descending into the crowd, Penny hears whispers of Beverly's other cousin... A gifted singer-songwriter named Riley Barry.
